Mobile Maintenance Superintendent

Tower Hill represents one of Western Australia's most exciting new gold developments, offering a unique opportunity to establish and lead a mobile maintenance operation from the ground up.

Leading the mobile maintenance function across a brand new fleet of industry leading Komatsu 830E electric drive haul trucks, a Liebherr R9600 hydraulic excavator and Caterpillar ancillary equipment, you will play a key role in shaping maintenance strategies, systems, team culture and operational standards from day one.

Supported by an exceptional new workshop facility, purpose built to support the operation, this is an opportunity to establish a modern, well equipped maintenance environment focused on safety, reliability and operational performance.

This is far more than a maintenance role. This role is offered on an 8/6 roster FIFO Perth to Leonora, DIDO or Residential.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and manage maintenance performance, budgeting, planning and scheduling activities across the operation
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability, maintenance efficiency and cost optimisation
• Provide visible leadership, coaching and support to maintenance teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement
• Ensure all mobile fleet assets are maintained to company standards and OEM requirements
• Champion a proactive safety culture and effective risk management practices across all maintenance activities
• Lead, develop and empower a high performing maintenance team capable of delivering sustainable operational results

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Extensive open pit mining experience within large scale mobile maintenance environments
• Proven leadership experience at Superintendent level, or demonstrated ability to step into senior leadership
• Strong technical knowledge across a diverse range of mobile mining equipment
• A track record of building engaged, high performing teams and developing future leaders
• Demonstrated success driving safety, reliability and operational performance outcomes
• A nationally recognised mechanical or electrical trade qualification
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• The ability to influence outcomes across all levels of the business
• Frontline or senior leader qualifications (highly desirable)
